These Contributor Terms explain what to expect if you publish an article on this early‑career cybersecurity platform. They are written for clarity, transparency, and fairness.

Who This Platform Is For

This platform is intentionally focused on early‑career cybersecurity professionals (0–3 years) who want to develop their professional voice through writing.

It is designed for learning, reflection, and perspective — not promotion.

What You Contribute

  • One original article (typically 800–1,200 words)
  • Written from your own experience working early in your cybersecurity career
  • Focused on lessons learned, surprises, challenges, or growth

We are not looking for vendor content, certification guides, or generic thought leadership.

Ownership of Your Work

  • You retain full ownership (copyright) of your article.
  • Publishing with this platform does not transfer ownership of your work.

You remain free to reuse your article in portfolios, personal blogs, LinkedIn posts, or future opportunities.

Permission to Publish

By publishing with us, you grant the platform a non‑exclusive, perpetual license to:

  • Publish and display your article on the website
  • Share it through platform‑related channels to promote the work (for example: links, excerpts, highlights)

This permission allows the platform to operate while preserving your rights as the author.

Editorial Process

  • Articles may be lightly edited for clarity, grammar, length, and formatting
  • Your voice and original meaning will be preserved
  • Any significant changes will be discussed with you before publication

Editorial support is provided to help you succeed, not to reshape your perspective.

Compensation

  • Contributors receive a $50 one‑time stipend for each published article
  • Payment is issued after publication
  • This is not a royalty arrangement

Attribution and Sharing

  • You will be clearly credited as the author of your article on the platform
  • When reposting the article elsewhere, we ask that you credit the original publication when reasonable

Original Work

By submitting an article, you confirm that:

  • The work is your own
  • You have permission to include any third‑party material (quotes, images, excerpts)

Withdrawal

  • If an article has not yet been published, either you or the platform may choose not to proceed
  • Once published, the article may remain available on the platform under the permission described above

Purpose and Expectations

This platform exists to support career development, confidence, and clarity for early‑career cybersecurity professionals.

Publishing here means contributing thoughtfully, honestly, and respectfully to that shared goal.

If you have questions about these terms, you are encouraged to ask before submitting an article.

_These terms are intentionally simple and contributor‑friendly. They exist to set clear expectations, protect contributors, and reinforce the purpose of the platform._
